How Aguilera almost lost her lyrics?

Pop Diva Christina Aguilera who wrote the lyrics to her latest single while having dinner with her husband, was frantic when she noticed that the napkin containing the scribble was missing.

The 'Candyman' singer felt inspired to write the track while she was dining at the Italian restaurant Osteria Mozza in Los Angeles, as reported.

However, the 28-year-old singer was unable to find a piece of paper and eventually scribbled the lyrics on her napkin while having supper with husband Jordan Bratman and later failed to notice that the waiter had cleared it along the dishes.

"Christina wasn't looking when the busboy took the inked-up napkin. When she realised it was missing she ran after him," a source said.

Luckily, the American beauty got hold of the waiter before he could disperse the napkin into the bin.

"Christina explained to the waiter what had happened and she found the napkin on top of a plate, unharmed," the source added.

'Britney started drinking at 13, lost virginity at 14'

London: Britney Spears began drinking at the age of 13, lost virginity at 14 and then started drugs at the age of 15, according to the tell-all book by mum Lynne Spears.

Lynne has made some sensational revelations in her book due to release on September 16.

In her book Through the Storm, Lynne revealed that the 26-year-old singer began drinking at the age of 13, lost her virginity at 14, and then started taking drugs at 15.

The Toxic singer allegedly had her first drink after joining Disney’s squeaky-clean Mickey Mouse Club.

Lynne also claims that the 14-year-old Britney then had sex with an 18-year-old high school senior in her home town of Kentwood, Louisiana soon after she quit the TV show.

She said that she regrets handing over control of Britney’s career to managers and allowing her daughter to be promoted as a sex object in raunchy videos at such a young age.

As Britney pursued her career, Lynne let her 16-year-old daughter sleep with Justin Timberlake, despite claiming she was a virgin.

"Lynne thought Britney was in love and Justin was good for her,” the Sun quoted a source, as saying.

Britney was once caught with cocaine and cannabis on a private jet, when she was 16.

The book is set to deepen the rift between Britney and Lynne.

Jade Goody's boyfriend jailed on battering charge

Ex-Big Brother star Jade Goody is "devastated" after learning that boyfriend Jack Tweed has received a jail sentence for battering a youth.

Tweed and his pal James Mattock, 29, were found guilty in July of battering 16-year-old Daniel Steele with golf clubs. The sentence was delivered on Monday.

He and Jade split earlier this year but he has been constantly at her side since she was diagnosed with cancer. Goody wrote to Queen's Counsel Recorder Lucraft begging him not to lock up on-off love Tweed, 21, so he could help her fight cervical cancer.

But the convicted Tweed got 18 months - and hours later Jade tearfully went with eldest son Bobby, five, to comfort Tweed's mum Mary.

His barrister Andre de Moller told the court that the attack happened after Tweed reached breaking point when he and Jade suffered "sustained abuse" at their old home in Chipping Ongar, Essex.

Recorder Lucraft said the offence warranted custody. The judge rejected Goody's mercy plea to spare him a prison sentence, leaving Jade, 27, to battle the killer disease without him at her side, according to The Sun.

Helen Mirren reveals cocaine use

Oscar-winner Helen Mirren admitted she loved snorting cocaine and only stopped due to the capture of Nazi war criminal Klaus Barbie, in an magazine interview out this month.

The respected British actress, 63, who won an Academy Award for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in The Queen, told the October issue of GQ men's monthly that she took the drug until her late thirties.

She only quit after the notorious Barbie was caught in Bolivia in 1983, and believed to have been making money from the Class A drug.

The star, knighted in 2003, also talked about meeting Queen Elizabeth, and spoke further about her date rape experiences.

Mirren said she used to take "a bit of cocaine. I loved coke. I never did a lot, just a little bit at parties.

"But what ended it for me was when they caught Klaus Barbie, the Butcher of Lyon, in the early eighties.

"He was hiding in South America and living off the proceeds of being a cocaine baron.

"And I read that in the paper, and all the cards fell into place and I saw how my little sniff of cocaine at a party had an absolute direct route to this fucking horrible man in South America.

A source close to club DJ Samantha said, "Well, she's certainly telling friends she's planning to write a book." “It's supposed to be about her, allegedly. But come on, you know Lindsay will be all over that book. She's the only one people want to read about,” E! Online quoted the source, as saying.

Lindsay's father, Michael Lohan, says he's also been told that Samantha is writing a book, though he hasn't spoken directly to Lindsay or Samantha about it. Still, he says he is already furious over the notion. "I've shut up about this long enough," Michael said.

Sean Connery unveils autobiography

Movie star, Bond icon, philanthropist, proud Scot, political activist Sean Connery now can also call himself an author. Connery, who shot to international fame as Ian Fleming's fictional spy James Bond, unveiled his new autobiography, Being a Scot in his hometown of Edinburgh on Monday which was also the day he celebrated his 78th birthday.

He told the audience that it wasn't the blockbuster Dr No that changed his life the most, but his schooling during his impoverished childhood.

"My first big break was when I was five because I had learnt to read and write. I am sure prisons and asylums are full of people who cannot read or write," Connery said.

"It took me more than 70 years to realise that. It's that simple and it's that profound. I left school at 13 and had no formal education (beyond that). When I realised I wanted to become an actor and not a football (soccer) player I went out and got myself an education, I read and I went to the theatre," he said.

His frame is not as sturdy as it was when he ordered his martinis shaken, not stirred, or when he entered a Mr Universe competition, and Connery needed help hearing questions at the Edinburgh International Book Festival.

But he spoke clearly of Scottish nationalism, his life as an actor, his love of soccer and golf and Donald Trump's proposed golf resort in Scotland.

Titanic couple back after a decade

Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet are to pair again in a new film, more than a decade after they starred in James Cameroon's 1997 hit Titanic.

The Hollywood actors shot to fame for their role in the film and have teamed up again for the drama Revolutionary Road, directed by Winslets's director-husband Sam Mendes.

"I had not realised how much my chemistry with him (DiCaprio) since Titanic would still stick," said Winslet of the highly anticipated reunion.

She also admitted that while the chemistry came easy between them, shooting for the love scenes was awkward.

"I just kept saying that this is too weird. Leo was like, 'Oh, get over with it and I am going' while I said, 'Yeah, but a little reminder, you are my best friend and he (Mendes) is my husband. So this is a bit weird'," she added.

The film details the disintegration of the couple's marriage as life fails to live up to the much-promised American Dream.

Kate Hudson is a thief

Actress Kate Hudson, who has appeared in hits such as Almost Famous, is being sued by Los Angeles-based 220 Laboratories for stealing their volcanic ash hair products.

According to a website, Hudson is being sued for not just stealing the product but selling it off as her own.

The firm has reportedly given 17 reasons to take action against Hudson and her hair guru Babaii, saying the duo made an oral contract with the lab and appointed them as the sole providers of the range's raw materials. The suit was filed in the Los Angeles County Superior Court. They are seeking unspecified damages.

Hudson's representative refused to make any comment.

Madonna defies age, kicks off world tour

"Queen of pop" Madonna entered the stage on a throne on as she kicked off her world tour, and defied her age with athletic dance routines before tens of thousands of screaming fans.

The US singer, who turned 50 a week ago, opened her Sticky & Sweet tour at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, with "Candy Shop". She wore a black leotard-style outfit designed by fashion house Givenchy and black, knee-length boots.

For her second number, Beat Goes On, Madonna drove along the stage catwalk in a white car from which she emerged wearing a white top hat.

US rappers Pharrell Williams and Kanye West, who featured on Madonna's latest chart-topping album Hard Candy, appeared in video clips, as did Britney Spears.

Madonna will be hoping to shatter her own record for the highest-grossing tour ever by a female artist and prove that the musical master of reinvention still has what it takes to pull in crowds young and old.

"It was so charismatic," said Paul, from the Welsh city of Newport, after the show. "I don't believe she's 50. She's more like 30."

"I think she's amazing," added Morgan, a young girl from Cardiff. "I want to be that way when I turn 50."

During the show Madonna played around 20 songs which spanned a career of nearly three decades, including Like A Prayer, Into The Groove and Hung Up.

The concert moved from a homage to 1920s art deco to the early 1980s music scene in New York, the city where, according to online biographies, Madonna moved in 1977 to pursue a career in dance with just $35 in her pocket.

Promoters Live Nation, who recently signed Madonna to a 10-year deal reported to be worth $120 million, said Madonna and her band clocked up 653 hours of rehearsal time before launching Sticky & Sweet.

The tour comprises some 50 dates and is due to wrap up in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on December 18.

As of Thursday, roughly half the tour venues had yet to sell out including Cardiff, although Live Nation announced in June that the tour was on target to gross more than $250 million.

Guinness World Records list Madonna as the world's most successful female recording artist of all time and she has sold around 200 million albums. The Sunday Times estimates Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie's fortune at around $600 million.

The 45-year-old star announced that he has written a Christmas song, which will be released as a festive single.

He revealed the plans of his festive season album at the first of his "final" major concerts.

The singing legend admitted that he would leave the "bells and whistles" of large-scale tours after the Final Two, as he wants a "quieter life".

Michael started the night with Fast Love, "It''s good to be home," the BBC quoted him as telling the audience.

The first half of the show included favourites such as Father Figure and Too Funky as well as lesser-heard tracks like First Time I Ever Saw Your Face, from the album Songs From the Last Century, and Hard Day, from Faith, while the second half had solo hits, including Faith, Flawless and Careless Whisper.
