BJP leaders to meet prez, PM over K'taka

BJP's Karnataka state and central leaders are expected to meet President Pratibha Patil and PM Manmohan Singh.
This comes in the wake of Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur indecision about inviting the BJP-JDS alliance to form the new government.
Frustrated with the delay, a delegation of senior BJP leaders will meet the President and the PM on Wednesday.

Earlier, Senior BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu had threatened to bring the proposed coalition's MLAs to meet the Prime Minister.BJP MLAs shall also stage a protest in Bangalore.

The coalition's CM elect, B S Yediyurappa, said, "He (Rameshwar Thakur) must allow us to form the government! It is his duty to take permission from the centre and form the government."
The JD(S) and the BJP have more than made up after their falling out in early October, with 121 MLAs supporting the move, 8 more than the minimum required.

However, a faction of the JD(S) headed by rebel JD(S) leader M P Prakash is crying foul.
