Saju baba received judgenent copy and he surrendered to TADA court

MUMBAI: Actor Sanjay Dutt, convicted in the 1993 serial bomb blasts case, received his judgement copy on Monday afternoon and was remanded to judicial custody by the special TADA court.
Dutt, who was out on bail received the copy of the judgement following which he surrendered before the TADA court.
Sanjay Dutt’s lawyers are due to file a bail plea in the Supreme Court. Dutt will be sent to Yerawada jail shortly.
Earlier on Saturday, he had got a minor reprieve as he did not receive his judgement copy, because it was not ready then.
However, court had handed over the 4,340-page judgement to 13 convicts, including 10 who have been awarded death sentence, that day.
