Sena activists wanted to kill me: Raj Thackeray

Maharashtra Navanirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray on Monday alleged Shiv Sena activists had planned to attack him and charged the then Sena leader Narayan Rane with being responsible for it. Addressing a rally organised by his party near Mumbai, Raj told a packed audience that this incident had taken place before he had quit Sena and formed his own party.
Raj said the Sena activists had planned to attack him when he was to get out of the Circuit House at Sindhudurgh in Konkan region and put the blame on Rane, who is now in the state's ruling Congress and is Revenue Minister.
