SUFI SHRINE TERROR ATTACK

A day after the terror attack in the sanctum sanctorum of Ajmer’s famous shrine, the dargah of Moin-ud-din Chishti, Rajasthan police have held six people for interrogation, including pilgrims of Bangladeshi origin.

However, no arrests have been made in Thursday's blast which claimed two lives and left 20 injured, a senior official said.

“Police and intelligence agencies are interrogating suspected people, even pilgrims of Bangladesh origin besides investigation by forensic and state CID-Crime branch experts,” Additional Director-General of Police (Law and Order) Kanihya Lal said. A bag containing an explosive device, two SIM cards, and pieces of a mobile phone have been found at the blast site.
