B-lore Metro wants opinions from its future users

The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation has released designs for its proposed Metro stations in various parts of Bangalore, but that's not all.

The corporation wants opinions not just from its stakeholders, but also its future users.
Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Ltd's Managing Director, V Madhu says, "We want young people, youngsters to write in and share their opinions and ideas and we want their feedback as the metro is for the people.

"I don't want it to look like a normal railway station," said one Bangalorean, "It should look like something in Singapore."

Another opined, "I want food joints and shopping areas in the station."
There are some differing views, though, particularly in commercial areas where shops would have to be demolished for the metro.
