BJP demanded more deployment of forces along the border

BJP president Rajnath Singh on Monday demanded intensifying deployment of forces along the Indo-Pak border in the backdrop of latest developments in the neighbouring country.
"Pakistan may send more terrorists to its border. Hence, instead of reduction of forces India should increase the number of security personnel along the border," Singh said at the closing function of Chhattisgarh Foundation Day of November one.
The crisis has deepened after Pakistan was put under Emergency and India can not remain untouched from the situation there, he said, severely criticising decision to reduce security forces in Jammu and Kashmir.
He also called on naxalites to shun violence and join the mainstream, saying no country had achieved growth amidst violence.
