124 person crossed LOC on a part of cofidence

As part of confidence building measures between India and Pakistan, 124 persons crossed over the Line of Control in Poonch district to meet their relatives on the other side, official sources said on Tuesday.

Sixty seven persons crossed from India to Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) while 57 crossed from PoK to India to meet their relatives on Monday, they said.

Indian and Pakistani officers supervised the operation at the border.

The Indian side was represented by Matloob Khan, General Manager of district industries, Poonch and Mohammad Hussain, Revenue Officer, while the PoK side was represented by Zuber Manhas and Aslam Shah.
