Goa hold a meeting for resovling NRI griveances

Goa held its first meeting of the standing committee for NRI grievances in the state secretariat under the chairmanship of NRI Commissioner Eduardo Faleiro.

The District Collectors as well as senior officers of the Central and the State Governments participated in the meeting, held on Thursday, a press note release said.

The meeting discussed grievances relating to Town Planning, Police, Passports and several other cases. Non-Resident Goans who give previous notice of a specific grievance can attend such meetings personally or through their duly authorized representative.

In Thursday's meeting several Non resident Goans (NRGs) including President, International Goan Association of Toronto Canada; Director International Goan Organisation of Ontario, Canada; President of Goan Association of Abu Dhabi and others made submissions to the Committee.
