Mallika's not so 'welcome' step

Mallika Sherawat and controversies are inseparable. These days the actress can be seen shaking a leg with Anil Kapoor in the promos of Firoze Nadiadwala’s Welcome, but the tantrum queen is far from satisfied.

Apparently, Sherawat has a cameo in the film and feels that her face shouldn’t have been used in the promos. As soon as she started getting SMSes from her friends complimenting the way she looked, Sherawat called up Nadiadwala and asked him to release new promos.

A source from the production house told HT City, “Mallika called up Firoze and discussed the norms of her contract. Since she was right, Firoze decided to rake her off from the promos.”

A close associate of the actress confirms the news, saying, “She works strictly by the rule. Her contract said that she wouldn’t be a part of any promotional campaign
