This is just one story from what is becoming an increasingly common occurrence in tourist haven, Goa.
A place where nearly four lakh foreign tourists visit every year, lounging on its beaches partying late in the night.
Feeling completely secure, till recently, when a spate of incidents has shattered that reputation.
In the most recent case of abuse, a British tourist was picked up from the Kala Academy in capital Panjim and taken to the outskirts of the city and allegedly raped late on Friday night.
While medical reports are awaited, the police have not yet arrested anyone.
This incident closely follows another from earlier this week, when a Russian tourist alleged; she was attacked by a local shack owner in Utorda beach in South Goa.
The man was arrested and later released on bail.
Earlier last week, two British women were molested by the owner of a resort, but the police did not register a case.
The two British women returned to Goa on Sunday and told NDTV that they were determined to fight their case and seek justice.
A fourth incident, that went unreported, occurred on the 10th of January, when a Finnish woman was threatened with rape.
She even filed a complaint but no action was taken.
The incidents point towards a dangerous trend that seems to have taken Goa with a storm.
