Goa Police bust international sex racket

Goa Police Thursday claimed to have busted an international sex racket run allegedly by a Russian lady with the help of young girls from Uzbekistan.
Four girls in their early 20s were arrested by crime branch sleuths of Goa Police in the capital city of Panaji. Police have launched an intensive search for the lady.
"This is an international prostitution racket run by a Russian lady. We are on look out for the lady who will be arrested anytime," police inspector Sandesh Chodankar said.
Police claimed that Thursday's breakthrough was the result of their three-month-old painstaking investigation after they were tipped off by the informant.
"The racket was run through mobile phones," Chodankar said.
After zeroing down on the kingpin and the girls, police Wednesday night sent the decoy to lure the girl in the trap.
The racket was run from coastal belt of Calangute and the girls were called at a multiplex in Panaji where they were arrested by the police team led by police inspector Sunita Sawant.
"We will execute more arrests soon and our main target is the lady who had brought these girls from Uzbekistan," Chodankar added
