Gujarat Chief Minister is making fresh efforts to woo the Sangh Parivar with a new book written by him.
Modi has been trying to get back to the good books of the Parivar since December 2007 and as a part of the attempts, he is out with a book called Jyotipunj.
It is the story of 15 prominent RSS leaderNarendra Modis with whom Modi was never associated.
''This book is not about the relation between me and the Sangh leaders. It is about how I have watched them and how they have left an indelible impression on my mind,'' said Modi.
But that's not the only right Modi did. He also got RSS general secretary Mohanrao Bhagwat to unveil his book.
Since he has showcased Sangh activists, the Parivar that was earlier critical of his ways, had to defend his work and speak his language.
''People who want to interpret it their own way will do so. They will question why and what Narendra Modi has written. It all depends on their state of mind,'' said Bhagwat.
Modi the politician has written eight short story collections for children.
However, the first RSS pracharak to become a chief minister has now changed both his writing style and target audience.
He has reasons to be happy. The moment the book was released, RSS workers walked away with each available copy
