Pakistani actress Meera, who made her Bollywood debut with Mahesh Bhatt's Nazar, has said that it is not the quantity but the quality that matters. "Post-Nazar, I have rejected 20-25 offers including some from very big banners. But I do not want to get typecast. It is not the quantity, but quality that matters while selecting a role," Meera said.
The starlet, best known for her kissing scenes in Nazar is back, this time with Salakhein, which is the second Pakistani movie to be released after Khuda Ke Liye recently.
The movie, starring a new comer from across the border, Ahmed, and Meera was premiered in Mumbai on Thursday. However, the premier was a lukewarm affair with most of the Bollywood celebrities giving it a miss.
Meera remained tight-lipped when quizzed about her Bollywood projects and promised to bounce back soon, in a big way and that too in a new avtaar.
Salakhein released in 2004 in Pakistan, is story of a college youth Faizaan (Ahmed), who gets trapped in the web of evil-minded people and Natasha (played by Meera) helps him fight the injustice.
