Rajni fans pray for his political entry

With superstar Rajnikanth keeping mum over his political foray, his die-hard fans sought the divine intervention, offering 10 goats at a temple for his early entry into active politics.

The fans offered the goats to the presiding deity of the Goddess Pechiamman temple in this town, about 100 km from Madurai, and offered special pooja to end the suspense over his entry into politics.

According to town secretary of the Rajnikanth Fans Association Yogasekaran, with actors like Vijayakanth, Sharathkumar and Karthick jumping into politics and starting their own parties "we also long and pray that our superstar should enter active politics.

"We decided to offer special pooja to end the suspense about the actor entering the politics and sought the blessings of Goddess Pechiamman for the same," said Madasamy and Annamalai, members of the fans association.
