Amar Singh accuses Maya of influencing ex-SC judge

New Delhi: Having moved into the good books of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Samajwadi Party General Secretary Amar Singh is now going all out to settle scores with his political opponents.

His target number one is UP chief Minister Mayawati. On Sunday, while addressing a press conference in Mumbai, the Samajwadi party leader gave vent to his ire against Mayawati.

He charged her of influencing retired Supreme Court judge H K Sema in three specific cases.

All these cases are related to UP government's plans of making new constructions in Lucknow's Ambedkar Park. Justice Sema is now the chairperson of UP Human rights commission.

“H K Sema, retired Judge of SC gave three verdicts in favour of Mayawati in three months. First, he gave decision that Mayawati can demolish stadium which was there for kids to play. There were lots of property related cases against Maya's relatives and they were acquitted by Sema. During the tenure of Mulayam Singh, plot allotment case happened. It was cancelled because of some information given by a newspaper. Despite it being cancelled, Sema ordered an inquiry into it,” Amar Singh alleged.
