Shweta in Telugu

After looking impressive in promos of the Hindi film Mission Istanbul, petite Shweta Bharadwaj will be making her debut in Telugu with Indumathi.


After watching her dare devil stunts in her debut Hindi flick, she has been labelled as desi Lara Croft . In her maiden Telugu film, she needs to, however, exhibit her histrionic skills rather than her fiery side. Director Harsha Reddy says that he’s created a special role for the Delhi girl and also convinced hero Sivaji to do a negative role in this female-centric film for which shooting is going to begin right away. However, she dismisses the comparison with Lara Croft but reveals that she’s a big fan of Croft and Angelina Jolie.
