Teenager found dead at Anjuna shack

PANAJI: A teenager working at Curlies shack, Anjuna was found dead in the shack staff room on Tuesday morning.

Given the unusual circumstances of the death, a post-mortem was conducted on the body of Abhay Ekka, 19, from West Bengal at Goa Medical College and Hospital later in the day.

Though the autopsy report has been reserved, as some samples have been preserved for chemical analysis and hystopathological tests, it notes an injury in the form of red contusion on the head of the deceased. The report also states that there is edema of the lungs and brain.

Curlies shack had come under the spotlight during investigation into the death of British teenager Scarlett Keeling.
