I'm a believer in destiny: Shilpa Shetty

We’re forever trying to change our karma . And believe me, when I say, spending a weekend at Oneness University of Kalki Bhagwan , transformed me. I’m a great believer of karma , that’s one of the biggest truths of life. Or how else do you explain that when things are going so wrong, then suddenly, they effortlessly go right? I believe it’s essential for everyone to cleanse their karma . Once you understand how it works, you can be a better person.

I was spiritual even as a child. I was taught to pray, show gratitude. We had an attitude of being thankful even if life was ugly, bad or sad — we prayed. The secret of life is — you have to be willing to change yourself. Change is the only constant. While the best way to survive life is — never fret over what you don’t get.

There’s a bigger plan for you. I believe you move in soul groups, and are born to finish the unfinished business. I’m a great believer of modern-day spiritual writers like Paulo Coelho and Brian Weiss.

I enjoy both spirituality and materialism in the same breath. I love to wear my Versace dresses and diamonds. I’m not apologetic about enjoying the good things in life.
