Bangladeshi author Taslima shifted to Delhi

Controversial Bangladeshi writer Taslima Nasreen shifted to Rajasthan on Thursday, less than 24 hours after being shifted out of West Bengal because of security concerns.
Sources in the Rajasthan government however told NDTV that Taslima was on a ''personal visit'' and they had no prior information that she was coming.

She was reportedly turned away by several hotels who claimed they were full up until she found a room in 'Hotel Shikha' near the Civil Secretariat.The police sealed its entrance and threw a security cordon around it. Traffic was also diverted in the area.

After an overnight stay in Jaipur, Taslima is now heading for Delhi by road and is escorted by the Rajasthan police.
