BJP to back Government if it enacts POTA-like law

The BJP said it would support the UPA Government if it enacts a stringent law on the lines of POTA to deal with terrorism in the country.

"The BJP will support the UPA Government in the Parliament if it enacts a law on the lines of POTA to curb terrorist activities in the country," party president Rajnath Singh said.
The BJP chief, who arrived in Faizabad on Saturday morning, visited the blast site in the district court and also met the injured in the district hospital.

Singh attributed the spurt in the terrorist activities in the country to the ‘soft policies’ adopted by the Centre towards terrorism
