IED found in local hotel in JK

Police on Saturday detected an improvised explosive device (IED) in a local hotel in Baramulla district.
An IED was detected in the New Lite hotel complex 55 kms from here this morning, a police spokesman said.
The device was defused by bomb disposal squad of police.
The hotel also suffered extensive damages during 67-hour-long encounter on November 11 which left two LeT militants and a security personnel killed.

In another incident, unidentified militants lobbed a grenade towards the house of one Abdul Rashid Tantray in Sopore town of Baramulla district on Saturday, the spokesman said, adding no casualities or injuries were reported.
