Yet again a question mark on the safety of women in the capital, late on Monday. A woman reporter got a first hand experience on Monday night as she left her office just after ten to come here to the metro station at Jhandewallan.
She was attacked by two men on a motorbike. Initial reports suggest she was hit on her face by a helmet. After she fell, no one came to her rescue. She managed to get an auto and came to her office.
''She was bleeding. There is blood on my clothes as well I saw her fall as she got off the auto. Her head was hurt,'' said Dheeraj, eyewitness.
She is now admitted to Gangaram hospital. Doctors say she is out of danger but has been kept under observation.
The police now have their work cut out to find out the reason behind the attack. Was it a case of road rage or eve teasing or was she attacked because she was following a story.
